Imperial Fists
The Imperial Fists are a fleet-based Chapter of Space Marines, with the Phalanx, a gigantic mobile space station, as their headquarter. The different styles of names is due to the different planets from which the Imperial Fists recruit. While all companies receive recruits from all the chapter's recruitment-chapels on Terra, Necromunda and a few other planets, usually the majority of recruits from one place is added to a single company. The 3rd Company, for instance, receives most of its recruits (after they've graduated as full battle-brothers from the 10th Company) from Holy Terra itself or from Minerva – as the company's demand has increased, more and more so.
As tendrils of Hive Fleet Leviathan
start to pour into the Audacia Sector, the Imperial Fists strenghten
their presence there, because after recent events they can hardly
afford to lose one of their primary recruitment planets. Even without
their very own matters at stake, Leviathan needs to be stopped
regardless, and who better to put an end to their advancements than
the masters of defensive warfare, the Imperial Fists?
Yet the Tyranids are hardly the only
menace to the Audacia Sector. While the Hive Fleet draws ever closer,
a veritable Ork Waaargh! is forming right at the heart of the sector,
discontent is rapidly evolving to open rebellion on more than one
system, suggesting the influence of Chaos and fueled by the ever more
tangible threats, there's a contingent of Space Wolves standing watch
over some abandoned world for reasons unknown to everybody but
themselves, and an ancient evil is stirring on the Deimos, the most
important Agri-World of the whole sector.
